iDecide app

• Your details are stored only on your device; in the web version, only in your browser. There is no account, and we receive no data.
• The app only uses the camera and contacts with your permission and only on the device: to scan your signed advance directive and to import your healthcare proxy from your contacts.
• Reminders are scheduled on your device, not on a server.
• You decide whether and with whom you share your advance directive, the scan or the QR code.
• Apple's and Google's privacy policies apply to downloads from the App Store and Google Play.

Website

• The website and the web version of the app are hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. On each visit, the server stores technical data such as the IP address, time and page requested, in order to ensure operation and security.
• We only use details from the contact form to answer your enquiry.
• We use no analytics or advertising cookies and no tracking. Fonts are loaded from our own server.

Displaying the emergency QR code

The information is contained in the QR code itself. With QR codes from the current version, it is decoded and displayed only in your browser; it is not transmitted to the server and is not stored anywhere.

With QR codes from version 1, the content was part of the web address and could therefore appear in the server's log files. This is no longer the case from version 2.0. If you created your QR code with version 1, you can generate a new one with the current version.

Your rights

We receive no data through the app. We only hold messages you send us and the server's technical log data. For access, correction or deletion requests, write to us at info@idecide.ch.
